EYESIGHT TEST
You can’t drive on the road unless your eyesight meets certain requirements.
- You will be asked to take an eyesight test at the start of your practical driving
test.
- You must be able to read a standard number plate, in good daylight, at a distance
of 20.5 metres (about 67 feet).
- If you need glasses or contact lenses to read the number plate, you must wear them
when you are driving.
- If you have problems with the eyesight test you should consult with an optician.
